FAQ’s

Will i need a MAC Code?

Usually when you transfer traditional broadband, you would need a MAC code. But because our network is totally independent of BT phone network, we do not require a MAC code. You will however need to ensure that you cancel your existing broadband service with your provider, once your Wi-Not connection is live.

Can i use my existing router/firewall?

This is not an uncommon request from our business customers, and in short yes. We present the service to our business customers using copper ethernet (RJ45) – most corporate hardware supports this. If you require any further advice please get in touch.

Is it possible to have an IP range?

Yes and no, basically this is at our discretion. If you have a genuine need for a small subnet of IP addresses this is no problem. If you require a larger subnet of IP addresses, you may need to speak to RIPE – we take several BGP feeds from multiple upstream providers, if required we can announce your own number blocks to our upstream providers.
